Welcome to Phatboy Bulldogges, a Healthier and more Hearty Bulldog!

At Phatboy Bulldogges, we are dedicated to creating a healthy and hearty bulldog that is not only very athletic, but is one of the most lovable and well tempered breeds out there.  We are a family based breeder located in Henderson, Nevada.  Our dogs are Olde English Bulldogges (pronounced Old English Bulldog) and they are all dual registered with International Olde English Bulldogge Association (IOEBA) and Continental Kennel Club (CKC), and some are registered with United Canine Association (UCA) as well.    

These are not AKC English Bulldogs.

  Although we love English Bulldogs, after we came across the Olde English Bulldogge, we fell in love with this upcoming bulldog breed.  Most modern day English bulldogs unfortunately have been plagued with extensive health issues which include breathing problems, skin allergies, little or no heat tolerance and breeding/whelping issues.  Our bulldogs are much healthier than AKC English Bulldogs and the dogs speak for themselves!  Our bulldogs can breed and whelp naturally and they are free breathers, which means that they do not have trouble breathing and can withstand very hot or cold temperatures if necessary.  Our bulldogs are a more rare and upcoming bulldog breed that has all the good looks of an English bulldog, minus all the health problems that are associated with English Bulldogs.  

Our goal at Phatboy’s is to have a small, but strong breeding program that produces bulldogs that are both impressive and loving.  Our goal is to breed for health, athleticism and temperment.

Every puppy we produce will be up to date on shots and wormings, along with being microchipped and vet inspected before going to their new homes.  Our puppies are treated like part of the family, so they will be raised with extensive love and care, along with being socialized with our other adult dogs. 

This breed is a recreation of the 18th century original bulldog that were once used in the sport of bullbaiting.  This recreation is 1/2 English Bulldog, 1/6 Bullmastiff, 1/6 Staffordshire Bull Terrier and 1/6 American Bulldog.  This recreation of the original bulldog has created a taller and more muscular bulldog that has great athleticism and almost no health problems.  Originally created by David Leavitt over 30 years ago, this breed is becoming more well known and popular in many parts of the United States.  Many visiting this site probably have not been introduced to or seen an Olde English Bulldogge, so that is why we encourage everyone to do their own research on the breed so you can make an educated decision on whether this breed best fits your expectations.  We believe strongly in this breed and know that if you pick to make an Olde English Bulldogge part of your family that you will not be disappointed.
